To know a city's historic cemeteries is to know its history. Join Oak Hill docent Emily Helman on Saturday, July 13, at 10 a.m. for a tour of Birmingham's historic Oak Hill Cemetery. Emily has been a volunteer with Oak Hill Events since 2012. Emily has also been the coordinator for our tour events, including our Fall History Tour, since 2016. The tour will begin at the Pioneer Chapel (the Tudor-style limestone building inside the entrance).

The tour will last approximately 90 minutes. Bring your favorite water bottle and bug repellant. If you forget, there will be water bottles and repellant available in the office.
